THE ANDALUCIA Kindergarten

To address the concerns of our employees, who are mostly single mothers and heads of households with preschool age children, our Social Department created the Andalucia Kindergarten  (Jardin Empresarial Andalucia) in 2002, with the goal of supporting education and childcare for children between 2-5 years of age. 

The Andalucia Kindergarten currently serves 28 children in a program supported and supervised by the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF, it’s initials in Spanish), an institution that promotes comprehensive wellness, nutrition, health and education to children in Colombia. 

Over the years, the Andalucia Kindergarten  has received more than 330 children who have benefitted from early childhood education, accessible to their families in a safe environment where their children’s social, educational, and overall wellness needs are met.
